What problem we solve
We want to eliminate technology impact on population.
We're addressing a critical problem stemming from the rapid technological advancement in society, which has led to a surge in plastic pollution and a 15% annual increase in the rate of autism among children. With 100 million autistic children worldwide, a direct consequence of technology's impact on the new generation, we're witnessing a significant loss in potential social interactions, with these kids being effectively isolated from platforms like Facebook and other social networks.

Traditional fixed screens, ubiquitous in our daily lives, are contributing to sedentary lifestyles, affecting both physical and ocular health. Even IT engineers, at the forefront of technological innovation, are not spared from these health concerns, with 100% experiencing problems related to spine and eyesight.
VR was supposed to revolutionize digital learning and immersive experiences but that has not taken off primarily because of health and comfort issues.
However, companies like Apple have found success by integrating VR into everyday life. Users now interact with modal windows placed in various spaces within their homes, like purchasing groceries from the refrigerator, watching Apple TV in the living room, and managing emails and messages on the work desk.
Essentially, Apple VR functions as magnifying optical glasses with high brightness. While beneficial for individuals with vision impairments, it may not appeal to those with normal vision.

Language learning needs to be immersive and VR is a route to it. Duolingo is $500M revenue and $10B mkt cap so the market is definitely big when the outcome is limited with a non immersive experience.

Team
The founders, Derick Smith and Mike Bukhovtsev, both immigrants, crossed paths through the Y-Combinator co-founders match platform in early 2023. Derick as a Crypto professional and Mike, portable screens professional has saw a significant opportunity in a fastest growing markets: VR, Crypto, EdTech.
Derick, the Strategist, a Serial entrepreneur with Hardware and Software exits to telecom, sought a new venture in social development as the CEO of MetaSense Venture Studio. As a Crypto / Blockchain mining professional, he realized how to make social shifts by introducing Web 3 DePin architecture for any new consumer electronics terminals via Wifi DePin chipsets.
Mike, the Product Architect, had been actively exploring the rapidly growing category of portable mini projectors combined with subscription-based content delivery and 360 VR content projection without VR glasses under cinemood.com brand.
He started decade ago through Indiegogo with the Cinemood Storytelling Projector. Since then, this evolved into a global company generating $25 million in revenue. Mike has got number of valuable insights from 75,000 Cinemood users, leading the team to devise a product strategy to revolutionize the VR and language learning sectors. This initiative falls under the auspices of our newly founded global VC studio, ‘Hologram’.
